What is a projection clock, or what is sometimes referred to as a shadow clock? This is actually to be experienced as an attractive interior decorating element. The main topic of this clock is not the clock itself, but the functional lighting element.
How does it work? A halogen lamp ensures the projection of the timepiece, clock or clockface on a flat surface. This could be a wall projection, but just as easily it could be a projection on the floor or ceiling. This is why Qtime is not just a functional projection clock, it has all assets to be a stylish home furnishing accessory. When placing the clock on a bookshelf, a cupboard or even more functional on a windowsill or desk, you will ensure that the attractively designed "projection lamp" as lighting element will have the function of a time measuring element as well if you project a fine clock on your wall or ceiling.
In the first instance it is constructed as an actual lighting element. It brings ambiance to the office, into your home, a teenager's room, but in the hall of an office building or any other larger area where people meet and where one needs or wants to add a little extra to create a perfect atmosphere.
 
Just place the Qtime projection clock in a larger or smaller area…..It will always fit in. Qtime does not really have to be an eye-catcher nor does it need to be at the centre of the attention. All the clock requires is an area of 20 cm2, that's all. Notwithstanding the fact that the Qtime projection clock does not really need to be "present", the designers naturally did include the fact that the clock needs to be "pleasing". The Qtime projection clock has a mat enamel aluminium coloured base housing. The lower part of the projection clock, as well as the projection mirror are both coloured. The colours are: mint green, tomato red and bright orange. These elements, which combine well with the always fitting basic colour black, make the Qtime extremely well suited to be placed in an eye catching spot.
The exiting thing of the Qtime projection clock is naturally that the projection adapts to the distance. If you position the clock in a smaller area, i.e. a living room, smaller office or a teenager's room, a distance of 2 to 3 meters between clock and wall or ceiling is sufficient to ensure a projection of approximately 60 cm to one meter.
If the shadow clock is positioned in a rather large area or in a hall, the clock can still have a crystal clear projection on a wall at a distance of 40 meters. The projection naturally enlarges when the distance increases. This means that in a large area the clock may have a diameter of 5 to 8 meters. Mind you, even large distances, and all type of circumstances never influence the crystal clear projection. This is what makes the Qtime projection clock unique.

The pleasing and attractive appearance of the Qtime projection clock has been well thought-out. Even the included transformer is available in the main colour of the lamp (black, green, orange and red)
It is also quite practical that Qtime has made it possible to use the housing of the transformer to store the accessories, which are always included with the delivery of the clock.
For instance, in the lower section of the transformer you will find the three coloured lenses. Lenses which can easily be removed from the housing by sliding them out. The lenses can also be attached to the lamp. This makes it easy to change the colour of the projection from transparent white to an ambiance elevating yellow, daring blue or peaceful green in less than no time….
Beneath the adapter you will also find a hexagonal key, in order to effortlessly open and close the housing should the lamp need to be replaced. The instructions explain everything in detail and leave no question unanswered. In short, the Qtime projection clock is a home furnishing accessory which must be part of your interior. The clock is suited for each and everyone, and will - in all situations - prove to be a functional and fitting accentuated item in the working or living area.
This is a truly an original product. Excellent as a present (€ 149) but even more suited to look at. It is pleasing to see how the Qtime projection clock fits seamlessly in each interior or office.
